John Berger talks about life’s experience folding backwards and forwards on itself.  Here, previous works which employed, or referred to techniques such as pleating, creasing and folding, and shibori, have been reconfigured to make new work through digital scanning and redrawing. These ‘mappings’ respond to the original and reinterpret them as a residue of memory, a retracing of experience.
