The work here continues to explore ideas around the histories formed through textiles, the journeys they take and the role they play in forming part of our collective and individual memories. Drawing on ideas of the ‘fabric of the building’ of Newark Park, a collection of circular and fragmented fabric imprinted porcelain pieces hints at cycles of life lived out in the house, at its foundation as a hunting lodge and its’ construction from stones retrieved from a former abbey. Fur and feathers, clothing as shed skins, the absence of lived in activity.
